RECENT FISH COUNTS - 2010

OPEN PARTY TRIPS IN AUGUST - DETAILS BELOW !
SINCE APRIL OF THIS YEAR, (AND WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY OTHER CHARTER OPERATIONS), DREAMER'S CAPT. ALLYN WATSON HAS GUIDED HIS ANGLERS TO LAND MORE WHITE SEABASS THAN ANY OTHER LOCAL CHARTER BOAT.

SPECIAL AUGUST OPEN PARTY TRIPS - DREAMER'S FIRST TRIP WAS AUGUST 11th, AND additional trips will be available every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday thereafter for the month of August. Crew member Jake will be coordinating reservations for DREAMER'S rarely offered OPEN PARTY trips. Cost is $285 per angler, and a custom-wrapped rod will be awarded to the Open Party angler with the biggest fish landed for the month of August. (Wednesday, August 25, 2010)Terrific fishing conditions and lots of fish provided DREAMER'S "open party" anglers (4 out of 6 showed up at Pierpoint Landing in time to make the trip) and crew the resources to land EIGHTEEN (18) quality white seabass (up to 35 pounds), a nice halibut and limits of calicos. (Thursday, August 19, 2010)TWELVE (12) white seabass and some calicos landed this trip. The ghosts weren't large, but they were just as tasty when the passengers brought them home for dinner.
(Wednesday, August 11, 2010)Crew member Jake reports that his Open Party trip today (six anglers) yielded, among other fish, four white seabass for those on board.
(Sunday , July 25, 2010) Ideal conditions and loads of fish provided DREAMER'S anglers and crew with limits (27 !) of white seabass (to 35 pounds), as Capt. Allyn Watson had to leave the Island early with the ghosts still biting; anglers and crew returned to Pierpoint Landing by 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon!
(Wednesday , July 21, 2010) Check out the PHOTOS page on our regular website - passengers on our July 21st trip landed limits of calicos, 2 big yellowtail PLUS 9 white seabass (up to 45 pounds !) (Sunday, July 18, 2010) Another good trip for our anglers, with DREAMER'S charter finding and landing another FIFTEEN (15) white seabass, this time on the bait grounds at the back side. (Sunday, April 18, 2010) Capt. Al just called your loyal webmaster on his way back from the Island to advise that DREAMER'S anglers are bringing home NINE (9) good-sized white sea bass (to 40#) to start out the 2010 season! Photos are posted on our PHOTOS page now!

(Sunday, September 13, 2009) DREAMER'S anglers slayed the yellowtail this time out, bringing home 28 good-sized yellowtail along with 40 calico bass and a half-dozen barracuda as well. Captain Al advises that the fishing conditions are looking great for his next trip leaving Tuesday evening (9-15-09), and that interested anglers are welcome to call him (or Jake -see info above) for more details on available dates.
(Friday, September 4, 2009) Twelve (12) quality yellowtail landed plus limits (60) of calico bass. (Sunday, August 9, 2009) Three big yellowtail, 2 white seabass and, once again, limits of calico bass. Let's not forget the two dozen sheephead too! (Saturday, August 8, 2009) This time out our anglers landed limits of calico bass along with ONE white seabass and TEN (10) quality yellowtail! (Sunday, August 2, 2009) We returned from a 2-day trip looking for tuna, and with uncooperative weather conditions on the second day still managed to bring home 180 calico bass, 16 (sixteen) big yellowtail and 2 (two) bluefin tuna! (Friday, July 31, 2009) Eighty big calico bass caught this trip, with our anglers also bringing home TWO (2) big white seabass and TWO (2) yellowtail. (Tuesday, July 28, 2009) Only ONE (1) good sized white seabass landed this time out along with 31 quality calico bass. (Monday, July 27, 2009) Capt. Allyn took the day off and DREAMER caught 26 calico bass and some barracuda. (Sunday, July 26, 2009) ONE (1) big yellowtail landed this time out, plus 70 quality calico bass, 2 sheephead and a barracuda. (Monday, July 20, 2009)DREAMER'S anglers brought home ONE big white seabass, ONE yellowtail and 41 calico bass this trip. (Sunday, July 19, 2009) More of those fat calico bass caught this trip, with our anglers once again bringing home limits (60) of calicos plus TWO good-sized white seabass and 4 sheephead. (Saturday, July 18, 2009) Limits, once again, of huge calico bass, (60), along with a lone but large white seabass and a big yellowtail to keep him company! (Friday, July 17, 2009) The calico bass were huge, and they didn't stand a chance this trip as our anglers and crew are on the way home this afternoon with limits (90) of the fattest calicos we've come across lately. (Thursday, July 16, 2009) TWO (2) big white seabass, one yellowtail, a halibut, 4 sheephead, 2 whitefish and FIFTY (50) quality calico bass brought home this time out. (Tuesday, July 14, 2009) Another SEVEN (7) large white seabass and 3 big yellowtail landed by our anglers, plus NINETY (90) more calico bass, 10 sheephead and 5 whitefish this trip! (Monday, July 13, 2009) Found those seabass this trip, landing 3 big specimens, plus a good-sized yellowtail, along with NINETY (90) calico bass, 5 whitefish, and 6 sheephead! (Sunday, July 12, 2009) Fifty-five big calico bass, along with 11 whitefish, 3 sheephead and 2 cudas brought home by our anglers this time out. (Saturday, July 11, 2009) No ghosts this trip, but we landed 21 big calico bass, 6 whitefish and 5 sheephead. (Friday, July 10, 2009) Our anglers (who on an earlier charter on DREAMER brought home ten monster yellowtail - see the June 9th photo on our PHOTOS page) decided to call it a day and head home early after landing SIX (6) huge white seabass and a few dozen calico bass. (Thursday, July 9, 2009) Capt. Allyn took the evening off while DREAMER caught limits of calico and a big yellowtail. (Wednesday, July 8, 2009) With only three anglers aboard (distinguished and experienced gentlemen each over the age of 80 years !) our fishermen brought home FIVE (5) big white seabass plus limits of calico bass this trip. (Monday, July 6, 2009) ANOTHER MONSTER TRIP - this time our anglers and crew landed TWENTY SEVEN (27) big white seabass! (Sunday, July 5, 2009) We brought home FOUR (4) big white seabass this time out. (Thursday, July 2, 2009) Three more big white seabass this trip plus limits of calico bass AGAIN for our 6 anglers! (Wednesday, July 1, 2009) EIGHTEEN (that's right - 18) white seabass plus limits of calico (90) brought home this time out! (Tuesday, June 30, 2009) Sixty (60) big calico bass landed along with the usual collection - sheephead, etc.! (Monday, June 29, 2009) One huge white seabass, two (2) yellowtail and 82 calico bass landed by our anglers today. (Sunday, June 28, 2009) Slim pickings this trip - one large halibut and 32 calico bass brought home this trip. (Saturday, June 27, 2009) FIFTY SEVEN (57) big calico bass accompanied the two large white seabass caught by our anglers this time out. (Thursday, June 25, 2009) Not a great day on the water, but good enough to land 38 calico bass plus one big halibut for our anglers. (Monday, June 24, 2009) A handful of assorted non-exotics caught in bad conditions, along with 60 calico bass for this trip! (Tuesday, June 23, 2009) With water conditions slightly improved, we landed 4 (four) good-sized white seabass, along with some monster calico bass this time out. (Monday, June 22, 2009) A super day fishing for our anglers, landing TEN (10) large white sea bass, one (1) hughe halibut and 60 calico bass this trip! (Sunday, June 21, 2009) Nothing spectacular this time out, but we were able to bring home TWO (2) large yellowtail, one big halibut plus 20 calico bass. (Saturday, June 20, 2009) THREE (3) large white seabass plus 25 quality calico bass brought home this trip! (Friday, June 19, 2009) Crowded (lots of boats) at the Island, but our anglers landed 2 white seabass and 5 yellowtail (bass and YT up to 40 pounds) along with a dozen calico bass and some sheephead. (Thursday, June 11, 2009) GREAT DAY for our anglers this trip, as we brought home NINE huge white seabass, along with 15 sculpin, 15 large calico bass, and 8 sheephead! (Tuesday, June 9, 2009) DREAMER returned from SCI today with TEN (10) yellowtail (weighing up to nearly 40 pounds), plus a huge halibut and a large white seabass. (Monday, June 8, 2009) Our anglers brought home 3 large white seabass weighing up to 40 pounds, a 28 pound yellowtail, 15 calico bass and 2 sheephead this trip. (Sunday, June 7, 2009) Along with one big white seabass, DREAMER anglers landed 40 large calico bass and 8 sheephead this time out. (Monday, May 25th through Saturday, June 6, 2009) The posting of our fish counts for this period was unavoidably delayed due to our webmaster's vacation. We apologize....Unfortunately, there were only limits of large calico bass along with dozens of sheephead caught on each of these charters. The white seabass managed to elude us. But that will change ! (Sunday, May 24, 2009) After being out of service for a week while our generator was replaced, DREAMER'S six anglers and crew of three returned from the Island this afternoon with NINE large white seabass, two dozen big calico bass, and a handful of sheephead. (Saturday, May 16, 2009) Sixty (60) fat calico bass landed by our anglers at Clemente, along with 20 sheephead and 10 whitefish. (Friday, May 15, 2009) We tried Clemente this trip, but less than ideal conditions brought us 25 large calico bass along with 20 sheephead and 15 whitefish. (Tuesday, May 12, 2009)Twenty large calico bass, 6 sheephead and one big white seabass caught today! (Sunday, May 10, 2009) In honor of Mother's Day, our 5 anglers brought home four (4) large white seabass and 25 calico bass. (Thursday, May 7, 2009) Despite adverse water and surface conditions, we were able to land 2 (TWO) quality white seabass along with 20 calico bass. (Wednesday, May 6, 2009) EIGHT (8) large white seabass plus 25 calicos caught by our anglers and crew this trip! (Thursday, April 30, 2009) Again we landed four (4) big white seabass this time out, plus 20 calico bass and 4 sheephead. (Monday, April 27, 2009) Four more white seabass (25 pounders this time) along with 25 calico bass and 20 sheephead landed by our 6 passengers this trip. (Friday, April 24, 2009) Another 4 big white seabass caught by our passengers today, along with 20 big calico bass and a large halibut. Our anglers also brought home 20 calico bass and 3 yellowtail today. (Wednesday, April 22, 2009) Our six anglers brought home 3 white seabass, 3 halibut, 1 yellowtail, 36 calico bass and 9 sheephead this trip! (Tuesday, April 21, 2009) Check out, on our full-size website PHOTOS page, the picture of the massive 52 pound white seabass landed this time out. Our anglers also brought home a 28 pound halibut and 45 big calico bass. (Sunday, April 19, 2009) Hooked but not landed the white seabass, but our anglers caught 35 big calico bass and 12 sheephead) (Saturday, April 18, 2009) They call white seabass "elusive", right? This time our anglers landed three dozen good-sized calico bass and a handful of sheephead. But the seabass managed to elude us on this trip. TONITE'S charter plans on making up for what happened. (Friday, April 17, 2009) DREAMER heads to the Island this evening with a full charter for the start of a virtually sold-out two month block of fishing charters. The air and water temperature forecast is for warmer conditions, so expect to read good reports here in the days ahead! And don't forget to give Captain Allyn Watson a phone call to see about possible last-minute cancellations or to reserve for later this summer. (Tuesday, April 14, 2009)We landed two white seabass, 20 calico bass and 10 sheephead this trip despite unfavorable wind and water conditions. We're going back out this weekend with plans on bringing home lots more! (Wednesday, April 8. 2009) Our 6 anglers brought home NINE white seabass up to 30 pounds plus 12 calico bass this trip! (Tuesday, April 7, 2009) DREAMER'S anglers brought home 2 good-size white seabass, 20 calico bass, and 3 dozen miscellaneous delicacies this time out. (Saturday, April 4, 2009) One of DREAMER'S four anglers landed a 40 pound seabass (pictured on our PHOTOS webpage), while our other anglers added 35 calico bass, 8 sheephead and a couple dozen assorted "fruits de mer" to the day's catch. (Monday, March 30, 2009) FOUR MORE white seabass (three of which weighed in at 25 pounds each), plus fifteen calico bass for our overnight charter to Catalina.....see the photo on our photos webpage! (Thursday, March 26, 2009) We returned from the island with two good-sized White SeaBass and a handful of calico and sheephead for our anglers. A photo from our trip appears on the "photos" page. Conditions look promising for more of the same in the days ahead! (Saturday, March 14, 2009) We spent the day at Catalina, and despite less-than-favorable water temperatures managed to catch quite a few white seabass, although most were shorts, unfortunately.
